About Us

Company Profile

Established in 1999, Oilfield Services & Supplies Pte Ltd (“OSSSG”) is a manufacturer of drilling tools and components that enable the upstream operations of the Oil & Gas industry. Together with 8 other satellite workshops in regionally, we (“OSS Group”) support our key customers which are service companies and drilling contractors that have a strong presence in Asia, Australia, Africa, Eurasia and the Middle East.

Our Growth

1999

Our founder, Peter Ong, established Oilfield Services & Supplies Pte Ltd and started welding, metal machining and steel fabrication works in a rented factory space in Jurong, Singapore.

2000

As the operations expanded, we relocated near to Loyang Offshore Supply Base.

2001

A joint investment was set up in Songkhla, Thailand to better serve our customers’ needs due to an increase in projected drilling activities.

2003

The joint investment expanded to Sattahip, Thailand to serve a larger market.

2005

OSS Singapore received the API Q1 and API Spec 7-1 accreditations. In the same year, a larger workshop space was acquired in Kian Teck Road as we continued to build our customer base in the Asia Pacific region.

2007

OSS India was incorporated in Mumbai to widen our Group’s regional network and presence.

2009

OSS Tianjin was set up to service and support our customers’ drilling activities in China. Subsequently, OSS Singapore moved to a larger facility at Joo Koon Road to expand its operating capacity.

2012

OSS Singapore moved to our current location in Tuas. The larger facility allowed us diversify our customers segment and provide tool and component repair services to various drilling contractors and inspection companies

2013

OSS Indonesia and Malaysia were set up in Jakarta and Labuan respectively. The workshops further increased our regional presence and support the offshore deep-water oil and gas activities in the area.

2015

OSS Thailand was established for the purpose of entering into a Service Contract with a major oil company.

2017

Invested in more sophisticated machinery and started qualification for surface engineering special processes

2019

Set up Armoloy® Thin-Dense Chrome Coating in Singapore as the only approved facility in Asia.

2020

OSS Kazakhstan was fully commissioned to offer customers in Central Asia shorter turnaround time, integrated after-sales services, and substantial cost-savings due to improved inventory logistics.

2021

OSS Indonesia expanded its operations to Balikpapan to support offshore drilling operations and mining activities in the area.

2022

OSS Singapore allocates resources to future themes centred on climate change adaptability and environmental sustainability.
